I wish I knew of the magic that this Facebook Marketplace sooner. It is a great option for nursery furniture/accessories that people no longer need and sell for a lot less than the retail price. There are some great gems to be found and a lot of people decide to upcycle them to add their own personal touch. Just be careful that any items you buy are properly cleaned and still comply with any safety standards. As with any private sale, make sure you are comfortable with the seller and always try to meet at a safe place when exchanging money.

Supermarkets such as Asda, Sainsburys and Tesco can offer some lovely nursery items at great cost. You can also collect your shopping points at the same time! Look out for offers and discounts.
Charity Shops and Car Boot Sales
Charity Shops and Car Boot Sales are very hit and miss but worth checking out. Children grow out of things so quickly and you can sometimes find great hidden gems. As with anything, just make sure they are properly cleaned and are are still safe for use.
