My baby at 6 months
OK, so your baby is now halfway through his/her first year, yay!

Again, babies don't need masses of toys. The world is new to them and so everything is a toy. When my children got toys, most of the time they were more interested in the box or the wrapper than the present themselves. Just make sure whatever you give them is safe and appropriate!

If however, you want to purchase some toys, I have linked below some very popular options.

Some prefer stimulating toys whilst other prefer 'Montessori' inspired toys. These are toys which align with the Montessori style of teaching and are usually made from natural materials. Whatever you choose, is a personal choice and there is no definitive right or wrong here.
Amazon Toys
Amazon has a huge range of baby toys. It's always worth checking out the reviews. Babies teeth can start to come through now usually so teethers are usually a great help.
vtech
Now not every parent likes the loud colourful plastic options. That being said, vtech toys are incredibly popular and it's your baby and your home so you pick whatever you and your baby likes. I received this toy bus as a gift and although not something I personally would have opted for, it turned out to be one of my son's favourite toys even to this day 2 years on.
Montessori Toys
I absolutely love Montessori inspired toys but again it's down to yours and your baby's interests and tastes. If this is your thing, Scandiborn have some of the most beautiful collection.
